Varsity-Inspired Look For a Cool-Girl Effect

Am I cool? Are you cool? Who knows? But what I do know is that you can try a varsity-inspired look to achieve that cool-girl effect. Like a lot of things in life, coolness is something that’s based on “fake it till you make it” principle. It’s all about perception and appearing a certain way, till the world catches on and you finally get that coveted title of a cool girl. Because let’s be real – who doesn’t want to be cool or at least appear cool? Idk, I do. But also – what do I know about life and coolness anyways? Maybe one day the outward me and the inward me will align and one day I’ll live what I preach. Are you keeping up? Because I’m not even keeping up with my own thoughts. Okay, let’s end this mental marathon and move on to fashun, dahling. (Mariah infected my brain and I LOVE every second of it.)

With that said – this burgundy army deep-v t-shirt is, you guessed it, from Mystique. I’ve decided to wear it with my American Apparel jeans that I attacked with scissors because I had to – since I’ve already poked a hole in them with my nail. With my nail, guys. Sometimes, I surprise myself. And mostly not in a good way. And mind you – these are not easy jeans to rip. I’ve decided to throw on my Zara parka and accessorize the outfit with some over-the-knee suede Zara boots, my Yankees cap, and the beloved Kate Spade satchel that I’ve finally personalized. The silver rings are from H&M and the bracelet that you’ve already seen in one of my previous posts is from Forever 21.
