The Perfect Blouse
Happy Fri-yay my fellow Stylegazers! I think I’ve finally found the ONE – I’ve finally found the perfect blouse. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with anything flowy, especially the blouses, because I’ll be honest; I’m low key trying to channel Stevie Nicks. But hey – aren’t we all? She’s such an inspiration.
This beautiful blouse from H&M might not catch your eye straight away when you’re browsing through the store. It didn’t catch mine while it was on the hanger that’s for sure, because on the hanger – it looks JUST OKAY. However, when I’ve put it on, my perspective shifted and I fell in love. Who would’ve thought? Sometimes you don’t see the potential right away. The blouse only comes in natural white, it’s made of crinkled chiffon, has trumpet sleeves, ruffle-trimmed stand-up collar and opening at the back of the neck with button. It is truly a wardrobe staple that I’m sure I’ll be wearing a lot – whether it’s with the jeans, shorts, skirts, pants, dungarees, pinafore dresses, etc. Totally worth every penny. If they made it in other colors, I’m sure I would buy one in each. That’s how obsessed I am.I’ve decided to combine it with python print high-waisted shorts and medium stone wash denim jacket from American Apparel. I’ve completed the look with my white saffiano leather DKNY bag, BCBGeneration pumps, boho choker and this amazing pair of sunglasses from Sunglass Warehouse.
I love Sunglass Warehouse because it offers a wide variety of trendy and well made, yet affordable sunglasses. It was founded in 2002 by Randy and Angie Stocklin, who started selling the sunglasses from their Indiana home… The rest is history. Sunglass Warehouse is very keen on giving back – from donating sunglasses through Timmy Global Health to advocating their team members to take two full days throughout the year, to volunteer through an organization of their choice.
