Pastels in September?

Happy Friday my fellow Stylegazers! I don’t know about you, but I feel like one way to describe this week would be – WEIRD. To start off – I went through so many emotions this week, went to the both ends of the emotional spectrum, hit the highs and the lows and then finally reached the equilibrium. Yay. If you were to ask me: “Giiirrrlll, what happened?” I would have to say that I really don’t know. I do not know what happened there… Could it be a glitch in the Universe, maybe? Mercury? Bad weather? Cuffing season? Internal issues? External issues? Nurture vs. nature? Or is it just me, myself & I? Am I getting thrown off balance as the seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years go by? Hmm, maybe… I mean, I can go on and on with this, that’s why I’ll just stop here. Then also, someone spit the gum by my car two times this week. My sister stepped on the gum the first time, then I stepped on it the second time and whoever did that – IT’S NOT COOL. That’s two pairs of ruined shoes. Two pairs. But hey – I forgive you. There are worse things happening in the world. And finally – Lady Gaga released a new song titled “Perfect Illusion” and I don’t know what I really think about it. How do I feel about it? It has been produced by Gaga herself, Mark Ronson, Kevin Parker of Tame Impala, Bloodpop (a.k.a Blood Diamonds) and it had added to the whole confusion this week and my inability to identify an emotion. Thanks.

Moving on to the outfit…. I just woke up and thought: “Pastels in September? Why not?! Let’s break the rules.” I definitely have a good feeling that I’ll be wearing pastels a lot this fall anyway. Cause… that’s just me. I always wanna do the opposite. The dress is from Forever 21; long necklace that I turned into a choker and the hat also; shoes are from Urban Outfitters and I constantly go back to them and the bag is from Furla.
